New Zealand is not short of waterfalls. If you ever visit you are bound to come across a few on accident let along on purpose! One of the favourites in Tauranga is called McLaren Falls. It's located just 20 min from the city. It's made up of several small waterfalls cascading down a bolder like river.
We spent the morning here exploring, climbing over rocks and looking at the dam. The walk is not very hard but I would thoroughly recommend wearing shows with grip as I was slipping all over the place in my cheap trainers. I actually ended up taking them off and walking bare foot because I found my feet had better grip!
