Prague

We arrived in Prague after a four hour train journey, and were starving because we hadn't really eaten that day so we had a traditional Prague Burger King at the station. Then we had to get the metro to our hostel.

It took us a while to find it because it was poorly signed but we found it in the end. We stayed at Hostel Miles, which is a nice hostel for the price and in a great location.

On the first day we caught the metro into the old town. We saw the Astronomical clock as well as the cathedral. It's a very pretty square.

We bought some traditional Trdelník which it basically a twisted cinimon roll with ice cream and sugar coating . It was yummy! There were lots of segways in the main square and a guy came up to us and offered a free trial!!! I really wanted to Segway during this trip but Emi didn't want to so it was a perfect opportunity!

We also took a tour that day to the castle and then watched a folk dancing festival in the evening.

The next day we walked to Charles bridge which was very busy with tourists. We also got a characture drawn of us along the bridge, and we looked very funny! We then crossed the bridge to get to the John Lennon wall. The wall is full of paintings and is definitely worth a picture!

Then we stumbled across a jazz festival and sat and listened for a couple of hours.

Overall Prague has to be one of my favourite cities so far, it's a historical capital with a nice vibe to it. I would definitely come again!
